WhizSeats began with a simple problem: finding knowledgeable, certified car seat help wasn't as easy as expected.
Why WhizSeats exists.
Richard started WhizSeats after his sister was having trouble finding a certified technician to help install a car seat. The family was surprised to learn that not every firefighter, police officer or CHP officer is necessarily certified to perform child passenger safety checks and installations.
Richard became a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and began helping his own family with car seat installation and education.
Then came another everyday parenting problem: dirty car seats.
His nieces' and nephews' seats collected the same crumbs, spills and messes every parent recognizes. Because car seat cleaning depends on the manufacturer's instructions, Richard added cleaning services that keep those safety considerations in mind.
His sister began referring WhizSeats to friends and parent groups who were running into the same issues. The business grew little by little by helping families who needed practical car seat and baby gear support.
