Clear expectations before service.
These policies explain how WhizSeats handles appointments, cleaning, travel, payments and service limitations so there are no surprises.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require a deposit before a future booking.
Travel Fee
A travel charge of $10–$40 may apply depending on distance. The amount will be confirmed when the appointment is arranged.
Excessive-Soiling / Bio-Mess Fee
An additional $5–$20 may apply for vomit, feces, urine or unusually heavy contamination. Please mention major contamination when requesting service so WhizSeats can plan appropriately.
Cleaning Results & Stain Removal
WhizSeats will make reasonable efforts to clean stains, spills, odors, crumbs and other soiling using methods permitted by the item’s manufacturer. Complete stain or odor removal cannot be guaranteed.
Some stains may become permanent because of their age, composition, previous cleaning attempts, heat exposure or how deeply they have penetrated the material. WhizSeats will not use harsh chemicals, cleaning products, temperatures or methods that conflict with applicable manufacturer care instructions solely to achieve a more aggressive cosmetic result. Some discoloration, staining, wear or odor may remain after service.
Manufacturer Instructions & Service Limitations
Car seats and other child-safety products have manufacturer-specific cleaning, maintenance and use requirements. WhizSeats follows the applicable manufacturer instructions available for the item being serviced.
WhizSeats may limit or decline any requested cleaning, disassembly, repair, installation method or other service that conflicts with those instructions or that WhizSeats believes should not be performed.
Pre-Existing Condition & Damage
Customers should disclose any known crash involvement, expiration, recall, missing or replacement parts, modifications, previous repairs, structural damage, damaged harnesses or buckles, or other known concerns before service.
Cleaning does not repair structural damage, reverse expiration, correct a recall, or make a damaged or crash-involved child restraint suitable for continued use. WhizSeats may decline service when the condition or history of an item raises a safety concern.
Car Seat Installation & Education
WhizSeats provides child passenger safety education and installation assistance using applicable car seat manufacturer instructions, vehicle owner information and CPST training. The purpose of the appointment is to help parents and caregivers understand and properly use their child restraint.
No car seat, installation method or child passenger safety service can eliminate all risk of injury in a motor vehicle crash. Caregivers remain responsible for the continued proper use, adjustment, inspection and maintenance of the child restraint after the appointment.
Pickup & Drop-Off
Pickup and drop-off availability depends on the service, location and schedule. Timing and handoff details are confirmed in advance.
Cleaning Turnaround & Drying Time
Estimated turnaround time is provided when service is accepted and may vary based on the item, manufacturer instructions, level of soiling and required drying time. A cleaned item should not be used until it is fully dry and ready for reassembly/use.
Payments
WhizSeats accepts cash and credit/debit card payments through Square, including Tap to Pay where available. Any applicable travel or excessive-soiling fee will be discussed with the customer.
Photos
WhizSeats may ask permission to photograph an item before or after service for service documentation, website or social media use. Identifying customer information will not be shared without permission.
Privacy
Information submitted through the WhizSeats website, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, locations and service details, is used to respond to service requests and operate the business. WhizSeats does not sell customer contact information.
Right to Decline Service
WhizSeats may decline a service request when an item appears unsafe, excessively damaged, contaminated beyond what can reasonably be handled, or when manufacturer instructions prevent the requested service.
